My boy....

It is next to impossible to snap a photo of this one... He is getting to the point where he avoids my camera at all costs. At this point he said to us, "Dad, I'm going to stand on that table and wook for a wabbit". He is hilarious! I creaped onto the table and snapped this photo. Even though it isn't of his face I love it.

Here is he is being very silly. I normally don't ask my kids to pose but I'm to the point where sometimes I do ask.

This is the result.

Weekend at O'Bannon Woods

Drew loved the water and so did Sammy. They both splashed around until they couldn't splash anymore! It was Sammy's first time and he did so well! He didn't want to get out! No one could really blame him! It was hot out there!

Drew mostly hung with my mom. Those two definately live in their own little world when they are together! He really loved everything about the children's part of the pool and he knew that he could count on "mamaw girl" to let him experience each and every part of that park.

We also had smores. It was awesome! Drew really did a good job helping Brandon roast those marshmallows! Surprisingly, Drew really only wanted to eat the "unroasted" marshmallows! He could have cared less about those smores! I sure enjoyed them though!
O'Bannon woods is such a beautiful park. Its really not far from where we live at all and we truly love the atmosphere! As soon as I pull through those gates I relax! Its a little piece of heaven on earth!

Sammy is pulling up....

Last week, we stayed in the yard all day on Sunday! Both of the boys had a wonderful time. Most of the time Drew helped Brandon around the yard while Samuel hung out in the playpen.

At ten months, Sammy doesn't show any interest in walking and pulling up hasn't really been high on his "to do" list. He crawls a lot but other than that - he is just really not ready to start being part of the "bi-pedal" world.

Well, last Sunday, he finally did it and it was precious! He was so proud of himself!
The campground is wonderful! We wish that we could stay for the rest of the week. The sky is blue and the birds are chirping. My boys are troopers!

Kentucky Derby Parade

My employer offered for us to watch the Derby Parade from our office. There were like 10 kiddos running around but it sure was good to be with my co-workers and their families.

Sherri's sister Nicole just loved my Sammy. He really didn't want anything to do with her at first but she was relentless! She didn't give up even when he cried and eventually won him over! Nicole loved his fat little legs!

Here is Drewbaby standing in the window watching the parade. Right before this, he said to Eylie " When you get big, you will be a princess and I will MARRY you". It was sooo cute but her daddy made sure to tell Drew that he had to ask him first!

There were some other kiddos there but I won't post their pictures on my blog - I'm not sure how their parents would feel about their pictures being on the Internet!

Wowwwwww. What a day! I'm seriously drowning!
